Data Collection Methodology

Data Collection MethodologySurvey Research Program staff can provide advice on the most productive and cost-effective method of data collection (mail, telephone, in person, or Internet/Web based) and the effective use of technology for surveys.  In addition, we can specify procedures for maximizing response rates within the framework of available resources for example, recommended number of attempts to contact respondents, securing initial cooperation, following up on incomplete interviews, converting refusals into acceptances, and use of mixed-mode designs and incentives.
